Small world eh?

Indeed. The amusing thing about my reading your post is that I'd driven directly past The Goodfoot twice before but hadn't noticed it (a lot of US bars are almost invisible unless you know where they are) but had noticed a place called 'Stark Naked Pizza' which is virtually next door.

The Bonfire, The Goodfoot and Stark Naked Pizza are all in a row on Stark Street (hence the pizza name...)

Sounds waaaaaay cool 20eyes! What led you to Portland? Incidently, I bought a very reasonably priced poster from a previous show and the print quality was amazing.

My girlfriend lives there. I took some photos of The Goodfoot for you - they're on her iPhone though, so need to get copies. You'd love it, the place is covered in posters and other artwork (yes, even in the toilets...)

Went there the other night... turns out my girlfriend worked with one of the poster artists (Casey Burns). Well, apparently he got a job at her Ad Agency, turned up for the first day, didn't like working on a non-freelance basis and left before the day was out

Pub itself is pretty cool, but like a lot of US bars is really just one big room/space. They have a load of pool tables upstairs and the music venue in the basement. Was pretty busy when I was there. There's a good restaurant called Bonfire pretty much next door - they have a food happy hour where about 10 dishes are only $3.50 each (that's about £2.25 for food we'd pay at least £10 a dish for - not that most of it is actually available to buy in somewhere like Swindon. I had gorgeous Ahi Tuna Tacos and an immense Chicken & Jalapeno Quesadilla for less than a fiver and couldn't even eat it all):
