Think Ennio Morricone meets 60's Floyd meets 70's moog pop meets the B52s meets the Stone Roses meets Underworld meets ... I dunno. Can't stress enough how entirely brilliant and refreshing this album is. Long live original music

NOT to be confused with the excellent indie record label with the same name, Tough Love is PABH's second album, and a fucking lethal statement of intent.

I've read reviews and previews of this LP, people are frothing at the mouth - it's being billed as something generational and magnificent - check out the video / link for latest single V.E.N.O.M - it's actually not that far from hair metal, anyone think?

If you liked their first LP, I'm sure we'll all love this one too! 3 minute punk rock tunes, totally British without sounding dated or, well too British. Class act all round.

Anyone Can Play Guitar in International Music by MarkEMoon

Anyone who is a fan of local music scenes will enjoy this film, it's about the Oxford music scene over the past 25 years and is the work of a bloke called Jon Spira who has worked tirelessly over the past few years putting this together, the film is entirely funded by donations, it's a well put together documentary, even if you've never set foot in Oxford there's plenty to recommend it.

It looks at the bands from the Oxford scene who have made it (Radiohead, Supergrass, Ride, Foals) some of those who didn't (The Candyskins, Swervedriver).

It's funny, it's heartfelt, it's informative.

So then, how about a documentary on the Swindon Music Scene, I reckon there's a tale to be told there.

To their fans, Fugazi are considered to be one of the most important and uncompromising bands of the past 30 years, influencing acts such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Strokes and The Killers.

But the group became known as much for their alternative stance towards the music industry as their post-hardcore music - the members of Fugazi have always been dedicated to keeping concert admission fees as low as possible and don't sell merchandise while touring.

They've played over 1000 concerts since forming in Washington DC in 1987, over 800 of which were recorded by their sound engineers. Now, despite being on an indefinite musical hiatus since 2003, the band continues to work together on the Fugazi Live Series archive project.

The goal of the project is to make that huge catalogue of recordings available to download, for a small fee. The BBC caught up with the band's guitarist and vocalist, Ian MacKaye, to find out why they are making this foray onto the web
