Diversion do a pretty damn fine impression of the Purplish heavy rock that was last in fashion when their parents weren't old enough to produce the gametes from whence this band sprang. In fact, their chugging riff rock is so hairy knuckled that it would put the kind of beer gutted old people usually involved with this type of thing to shame. With a singer who can sing, and a bass player who looks like Dee Dee Ramone, they're technically better than Primal Scream.
