Those of you who attended the Swindon Shuffle recently may have noticed those awfully nice chaps from Swindon Viewpoint filming some of the performances. They propose to use this to create a limited edition video of the event but before committing to the project need to do a bit of market research about the intended market. If the idea of a keepsake from the weekend is something that you find interesting, read their blurb below, checkout the sample video and more importantly go to their website and pre-order the said artifact. This can only happen if their are enough pledges to cover the costs so do it today.
The proposal in their words:…..
To raise funds towards the costs of covering local music; Viewpoint is planning to issue a limited edition DVD of a selection of ace homegrown bands who played at this years Swindon Shuffle. Songs from The Dacoits, The Vooz, The Racket, Kova Me Badd, Black Sheep Apprentice and Hiproute will be included, as well as rare coverage of a selection of well known Swindon Bands from the past; – Jacksauce, Big Casino, Zebracoat, Babytrain, and Plastic Sound Co – who reformed for the event and delivered great performances.
These will be good quality videos; for examples see : http://www.swindonviewpoint.com/video/black-sheep-apprentice-let-it-go and http://www.swindonviewpoint.com/video/big-casino-beehive
The DVD will be a very collectable one-off and pre-order only – and at a bargain price of £10. Please tell your friends and anyone interested in local music, and place an order with your address and email on our ‘contact’ form on the website; http://www.swindonviewpoint.comSupport live and local Music !
