Bodyglass are due to play The 12 Bar this Thursday - but they are not returning emails, and didn't turn up to the shuffle...

We have a massive facebook page with loads of people intending on coming, with both I Am Bodhi and The Joe Public handing in cheap list names, but I've had nothing from Bodyglass...

Does anyone on here know them? And give them a friendly shove?

We are definitely still playing on Thursday, all 4 of us are listed as attending on the Facebook event have been inviting people for the last month.

Apologies for not sending through the list of peeps we have attending, I have just double checked the band e-mail address and we have not received any e-mails from you regarding this. What was the email address you were using?

What happened to the Shuffle performance?

We had to pull out unfortunately, two of the guys weren't in Swindon and couldn't get back... I'm told that we did get in touch with the Shuffle lot to inform them, but I didn't send it personally.

Man - Bodyglass's performance last night was just fantastic! With a saxophone they would sound like a funkier Iggy And The Stooges.

Bodyglass were just goofing around and having fun, but when they actually played they turned it up a level - they said they hadn't been practising, but you wouldn't know it!

I remember Soulsmith, but never did their sound, it was before my time working at Vic / 12 Bar, so having to pay proper attention made me really appreciate how good they are.

The night was excellent, fantastic turn out - Anaheim were also excellent, and at The College too, so bargain, got myself a contact down there now, and the other two supports, I Am Bodhi and The Joe Public have good followings, so the atmosphere through the night was perfect, and a good mix of audience.

One of the best nights I've done at the 12 Bar! And all bands were thoroughly nice guys too!

I'll write a proper review of it tomorrow in the reviews section.
