Gibson LP neck break

Hi guys

Currently looking a LP a friend of mine has . It had a broken neck that has been amatuerly been repaired , and I was just wondering if anyone has had it done anywhere in town and how much it costed ?

once i took my telecaster into kempsters to have a setup and string change. apparently when they took the strings off, it fell in half.
they glued it together very well and cheaply and its battled on nicely since.

It'll depend from job to job, and an LP is much harder than a Tele as the neck is set. Probs around £100.

The repair was more than likely done by Simon law, one of the best amp & guitat tech's I know (not to mention a fantastic guitarist!)

I snapped the neck on my epiphone LP Standard few years back right from the nut to the second fret and Jeff in Kepsters said it was a write off. However i took it to a guy in Reading who did an amazing repair on it for only £75! Two years on it still plays pretty good : )

£75 for the neck repair....£5 for a set of E.B Hybrids :P
