Guitars with P90s
Looking for recommendations...

As part of my ongoing quest for tone I'm thinking about getting a guitar with P90s ('cause Greg Anderson uses them)... can anybody recommend anything under £500 that has a bit of low-end oomph to it?

I remember reading a few years ago that the entry-level, far eastern made PRS guitars were pretty good and there is a p-90 option. I think they might be called the SE range but dont quote me on that.

Also, as I am sure a certain someone else on this forum would testify, Gordon Smith do an extensive range, all with p-90 options.

Yep, Gordon-Smith GS-1 is under £400, hand-made, plays beautifully and sounds awesome with a single bridge P90. Can't recommend highly enough. I've had 5 of them!

Opportunism at its worst, but I have one of these:

...which I am willing to part with for 200 notes ono. Cost 400ish new and it's in practically new condition. Played so little it's still got the resin marks on the fretboard from where they clean it in the factory, which I'm sure would come off with a cloth and a bit of spit.

Not buying right now unfortunately as I've just recently blown my musical stuff budget on a valve amp... but if you still have it in a few months I might take it.
