Hello

Please check out SAILORS

Who are a technical mathy pop band from just outside Devizes.

Sailors have recently supported Calories, Cats And Cats And Cats, Tubelord and now This Town Needs Guns, in Devizes and Swindon (3) respectivly. And a gazillion pop punk bands in Salisbury.

In the past Sailors have supported Secondsmile in Trowbridge, and Shit Disco also in Trowbridge.

One track of the new 3 track cd is up on their myspace, a song called "Red Wax"

There will be a video soon - filmed and created by Swindon's very own Pictor Productions who recorded their set from supporting This Town Needs Guns at The Vic.

Both the new 3 track EP and Live set will be free to download shortly

You can keep up to date with us on Myspace, Facebook and Last.fm.

Front man Alex Share did an acoustic BBC session before christmas - I forget the song, but im sure that will also be up for streaming sometime soon!

Thanks for your time!

Oh and they are looking for shows in Swindon, if anyone wants to take a punt!

Just had a listen - you can definitely hear their influences in them. Kind of inoffensive indie pop stuff - not my usual but I like it. I can see a few people on here really liking them

Thanks Adam

Yeah they are definatly a product of their influences! If you listen to the first demo - which I will upload to last.fm in the next few days, and then listen to the new cd - its leaps and bounds better - Im hoping that in a years time, after this ep - The New One, will again leaps and bounds better, and be something special... Fingers crossed!

Seen them a few times now. They're fab, and very underrated in the Wiltshire scene. I'm really getting into that whole Math Rock thing at the mo, and these guys seem to do it really well.

Cool - thanks for the good words, I personally think the whole Math thing could be the next big scene. It's got a lot to appreciate.

I really want to put on a really annally retentive math night in Devizes. I'll let you know when I get the bands I want!
