Damo has helped me out no end with including the banner you see on the main page and on my myspace.
I think going from past years the final 12 just play as a celebration at the pilton working mens club and all the acts get a spot on various stages throughout the weekend. Mainly the Queens head i think but the winner gets a spot on with the pyramid or other stage.
They actually are only obligated to give the winner a slot but they tend to give slots to everyone else who make the final 12 unless you really annoy them in some way i guess.

After about a week into the voting i checked out a band called Faded Cadence who were in the voting too.
They have a large fan base and i knew they would win it in the end.
I was proved right but interestingly enough they won with less than 800 votes so it says on the their facebook (had nothing from the organisers to tell me who has even won)
So it goes to show it was possible. I came 4th out of 10 and have been told i got around the 550 mark.

Absolutely right and was always my thinking from the start, use what tools you have in front of you is a way to put it i guess.

I've got Camden Crawl in may and some other exciting things so not complaining.
