When you say old people, how old is old?

As old as me, really old!!

Its a movable target - I suggest we keep it to an age a few years on from whatever age we are at the time!!

I remember when I was 18 thinking 30 was "getting on a bit" then getting to 30 and thinking 40 was "really old"... now I'm fast approaching my 38th year on this planet and suddenly 50 isn't so old.

We were all learner drivers once. Show some patience and try to think back to your first few lessons on a public road.

Drivers that can't park for shit? I park pretty well and that's all that matters to me. Don't give a f**k how well others park.

Look deeper at a so called bully. Give them the help they need whether that be finacial, social or medical and they are completely different people.

Another pet hate..

Am just updating the Furnace website and am being reminded how annoying it is when trying to put up some info about bands playing and they don't have on their website/MySpace either:

1) a short, simple biography of who they are and what they do. Some bands have nothing at all - others have a essay that would take 20 minutes to read.
2) a decent useable photo, instead of 200 blurred, out of focus and garish live photos that all look absolutely shit.

Bloody annoying...

I totally get that from writting the Adver bit. One venue in particular is rubbish at putting any info or links to the band website/myspace beyond a blanket phrase like "rock/alternative" or "punk/ska" which is pretty vague. Also the venue website is often a week or so out of date which is pretty annoying when you are writing two weeks ahead. This is the same venue whose main promoter is the first to moan when they don't get man of their gigs mentioned. If you meet me half way...you may get better coverage. (some "promoters" need to look the term up in the dictionary!)

Swindon Borough Council annoy the hell out of me, that's a major grievance for me, mind you they seem to think the regeneration and long term development of this town is "trivial" which is why that idiot Rod Bluh is is in charge. what a fool, my 2 year old daughter could do a better job.
