Oil City Confidential
The Dr Feelgood story

Not sure about the one your on about Bozley, think it may be an 80's track, rather than one on the film.

Wilko seems to be getting to be a BBC regular lately, saw him on something about rock bands on BBC2 last week.

Nah, I just did a Owl City joke.

A great documentary that did it's best to convey the band's live performance but film never comes close!

I saw them a number of times with Wilko and later with Gypie - every time they were awesome.

I agree with Ian re: Wilko's temper. I had the misfortune to be sitting next to him at a Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee gig when he had a huge row with his girlfriend...he left by climbing out over the seats still yelling obcenties at the rest of his "party"....

Happy days!

Since this thread was started earlier this year I've added "Down By The Jetty" and "Malpractice" to my collection and both are cracking albums.

I knew most of the songs, pretty sure I have a c90 tape somewhere with "Jetty" on one side and "Malpractice" on the other.

Cracking stuff, still sounds really fresh

Pleased that Oil City Confidential has raised their profile again, just sad that Lee Brilleaux isn't around to get the recognition he deserved.
