does anyone use cubase ai5?

from the time i load it, it takes about an hour before the inputs and outputs kick in. some times if i disconect the reconect the devices it workss but not always. fucking thing. give me a good old fashioned mixing desk and some tape any day!

I don't use Cubase anymore, but never had any issues like that or know anyone that has that.

What exactly is the setup? Are the drivers for the interface up to date? Have you checked for updates for Cubase?

its brand new. a package with the CI2 usb interface. the thing thas has workrd consistantly so far is playing farmville for 20 minutes whilst i wait!!!

Operating system?

Any other software/3rd party plugins etc... How does Cubase work when you're not using the interface for example and likewise when using the interface with other software.

I assume it was boxed, so definitely check for updates at the very least.
