Watched this over the weekend, anyone seen it. Its from a couple of years ago about a Dublin busker and his brief relationship with an immigrant girl and has some great music. It stars Glen Hansard who was last seen as the guitarist in The Commitments and who seems to have gone back o being a musician in the last 18 years. All of the music seems to be written and preformed by him and is a bit Damien Rice but its a gentle story with a realistic look and feel to it.

Watch it.

Yeah it's a really really great film. Love the way the songs are integrated into the film, and the acting is superb. Lovely : )

Glen Hansard has been fronting a fantastic band called The Frames for the past 20 years, brilliant band who I had the pleasure to play a gig with back in Oxford in the late 1990's, he's a really nice bloke, a good musician and singer.

One of my favourite films of the last few years. The scene where they first perform 'Falling Slowly' in the music shop is incredible.

I read somewhere recently that Glen Hansard was in line to play Rorschach in the Watchmen film which would have been bizzarely brilliant.

Phil (Hano) is a Frames nut, he pretty much worships them

Anyone who's a fan of Glen Hansard should check out Peter Katz's new album. He features on it, and it's a gem!!
