I have an old Boss PS2 which has a broken knob and needs replacing, is there anyone here who can help out, or know someone who can.

Without going to a shop, I'd suggest speaking to TimO.

Don't know the exact pedal, but the pot no doubt mounts direct to the PCB, so whichever replacement pot you use needs to have legs with the right spacing for the PCB (probably not room to chuck a small normal pot in and run wires - but that might be another bodge-option if finding the right pot proves hard).

Step 1 : get it open and take some good pics of the offending pot (showing any value markings and all the legs).

Then we can look on Rapid/RSWWW/CPC for suitable replacements.

I have opened it up and the pots aren't mounted to the PCB from what I could tell.

The pedal is an old Japanese pedal from the 80's http://www.bossarea.com/loadpage.asp?file=boxes/PS-2.xml

that'll make it easier then - can you post a couple of pics?

**edit** - there are pften 2 pcbs in a Boss - one for pots, so if you only looked at the main board they may still be PCB mount - or did you look at the actual pot?

It is mounted to a PCB. Don't want to be opening it up any more as I'm going to start doing some damage soon (Can't get it closed now), so would rather pass it on to someone to look at.
