Awsome, it does look fantastic. And With Terry Gilliam directing it, you cant go wrong.

I'm putting 'In The Loop' right at the top of my list. The most gifted use of swearing I have seen put to celluloid. God bless Malcolm Tucker.

Just watched Anvil: The Story of Anvil. Really enjoyable and touching documentary about a pair of ageing Canadian rockers who refuse to give up the dream. Great stuff.

I saw 'Paranormal Activity' on Friday night and it was without doubt the scariest thing I have ever seen. Possible the even the best film I have ever seen. I s**t myself every time I hear a noise in my house now

I watched Paranormal Activity and was very disappointed, it was a bit freaky towards the end but I feel it's been over hyped.

I did enjoy Zombieland a lot and although not a Star Trek fan at all, I thought the new film was brilliant.

Tend to spend more time listening to records but the ocassional film is good.

Anvil, Up!, Adventureland, Moon...

Was dragged to Harry Potter by my girlfriend, the most boring 3 hours of my life, never again.

I have a feeling Avatar will be the new waterworld, looks like it may have the hammiest script ever.

Most of my friends work in the film industry so I'm so bored to tears with hearing about film I really can't be bothered.

For me,

The Wrestler
The Hurt Locker
The Watchmen
Up
Role Models

In that order, were some crackers last year. (and I've still not watched Inglorious Basterds yet)

Only just got 'round to watching Up, but what a great film. Both utterly heartbreaking and giddily joyous. Loved it.

This thread started with a mention for, 'Let The Right One In'... coincidentally, I'm off to see 'Let Me In' this evening. It's the Hollywood remake that everyone pre-supposed would be inferior, until they actually saw it.
