Formula 1 Season
Lets blog about this

Well, first race over and done with and what a superb race. Look slike we are in for an entertaining season.

Jenson Button leads from start to finish. Despite this my driver of the day was Lewis Hamilton, starting from the back of the grid in an extremely bad McLaren, he comes in third. First lap he overtakes six cars. The inevitable first corner accident occurs, started by Sebastian Vettil.
I think, in all honesty, had you put Button in the McLaren, he would have started last and finished last. With the Ferraris scoring no points at all how long before we see rule changes to allow them to win. So much for Massa and Raikkonen being world class drivers.
I am not a fan of anyone in particular but admire superb RACING drivers. This for me, means Lewis Hamilton, he is by far the best driver out there because he is a born RACER.

All in all, what a fantastic race and cant wait for next weekend's jaunt.

Opinions?

Only saw little bits of the race as it was my boyfriends birthday but what I did see was brilliant.
Really interesting to see everybody's cars for the season, that McLaren really is terrible. A great race for Button, its good to see such a good driver in a car that will finally give him a chance, Looks set to be the best season yet, do we dare to predict an Englishmans battle for the championship?

They just cant wait to find any excuse possible to ensure that Lewis Hamilton and McLaren leave Formula 1, as they so obviously dont want them there.

Because they held back a radio conversation, apparently, what a load of bollocks.

I will watch one more race and if it happens again, thats it. No more for me.

I've had enough of these so called racing Stewards who take bribes from anyone against McLaren.

That's exactly what I thought. I'd be seriously tempted to boycott Formula 1 if I thought it would make any difference.

Another great race, shame about the weather & the politics. The overtaking working group seem to have done a good job judging by the last couple of weekends & its great to see different teams fighting for the win.

I just hope this diffuser protest/appeal gets thrown out, let the big teams catch up, they've had their dominant seasons before, let the others have a go.

Jenson Button for WDC 2009 ( or if not Vettel will be good)

So what happened to the blog this idea?

Did everyone just get fed up when Ferrari & Mclaren weren't winning every week?

I thought it was great seeing different teams & drivers at the front & my tip for the top won it in the end. The Spa, Monza part of the season was even more entertaining, whoever would have predicted a Force India on pole at Spa in dry conditions.

Next season can't come around too soon for me, new teams, lots of driver line up changes, & drivers having to overtake on track instead of relying on fuel strategies. Should make it as unpredictable as the second half of this year at least.

Edited due to crap spelling.
