NO that is

Seconded. I don't understand why that little cockwit deems it necessary to pout like one of those fish that cleans the sides of aquariums in every single photo he's in.

After Neil's picture I haven't dared look at that bands myspace, I don't want to contribute to their hit counter now! I love how all these bands rebel with their full body tattoos and swooped hair by all looking exactly the same as each other.

I saw a video by a band called Metro Station on MTV2 the other day, I'm not a violent person by nature but I could have quite happily punched them, more than once.

GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Couldn't agree more 20 Eyes. All mine are bespoke and although they all have a personal meaning to me they are still great works of art. I don't have issues about showing them by going topless or wearing a t shirt but I don't make a point of showing them off. All my tattoo's are visible to me as well as I want to see them. I must admit that I do like looking at other peoples art work

The guy thats heavily tattooed in Metro Station is Billy Ray Cyrus' step son and Miley Cyrus' half brother! I like them they make me want to dance and I often do!

All my tattoos have meaning to them but thats what they are to me, significant events in my life, I couldnt care less if noone likes them or sees them for that matter!

What I find even more interesting/sad is how quickly tattoo 'fashion' seems to change with people in bands.

I remember a few years ago when everyone was getting celtic and, especially, tribal tattoos done. I even had a few whippersnappers tell me that my tattoos weren't 'cool' because they had colour and are actual images.

Firstly, anyone who gets a tattoo because they think they're 'cool' is a fool and, secondly, all those kids who got the celtic and tribal stuff soon realised that it's almost impossible to have proper sleeve work done with that type of stuff and, if you have large ones, it's also hard to sleeve around them without it looking crap.

And, lo and behold, two years later and all the young kids in bands are all covered in the same style of tattoos as mine and love the colourful look.

The point about fashion is that it changes and you can change with it. Which, when you think about it, kinda makes it a bit silly to consider tattoos as fashionable.

As I mentioned before about a great design, a good tattoo is always a good tattoo and a bad tattoo is always a bad tattoo - regardless of whatever the guy on the front of Kerrang! looks like this week.

Seriously? With that kind of lineage I don't understand how he's not in the best rock n' roll band in the world ever.

If I hear a worse band this year then it will be quite a surprise.

Each to their own though!

These kids are soulless, are they still called Emo's? Whatever they belong to i'm justifiably throwing them into the useless subculture box. They're dullards, simpletons and bores.

On the tattoo side, they 99.9% always look shit, girls who get their chests done makes me sad. Why ruin the beauty that is tits by having some cliched pattern permanently smeared to your chest?

They aint Emos they are "Scene Kids"!!!! I would really like to know where they get all their money from in the first place to be honest as tattoos are an expensive business!!!

Every scene has scene kids, usually the bandwagon jumpers who try and make up for lost time by going completely insane and having no substlety to what made that subculture exciting. Again... these kids have no soul and may have been former football kids... god i still hate football kids.

Bitter?

I can't imagine any woman with tattoos over her chest thinking it's a great idea for very long. The first outfit they clash with will probably do it. Tattooed boobs are horrible too!

Amy Winehouse looks like she fell asleep pissed round my house while I had a biro to hand and mischief on my mind.

I don't hold with the "It's going to look s**t when you're old" thing because I'm going to look s**t when I'm old anyway, but I think it's more difficult for women. I think people would notice s**t tatoos on women before they did on blokes and judge them more unfairly for it.

That band are shit, comedy hardcore over dodgy crunk.. Thank f**k I'm getting old and out of touch. The tattoos don't look dry yet. In fact each member looks like he rolled around naked on a copy of the Beano. Horse shit.

I'm hung over, grumpy and foul mouthed.

the bad tattoos i can handle, it's the s**t hairstyles modelled by these bands that really gets my goat. if you've got a tattoo you grow out of you can always hack it off with a rusty nail, but you can never really shake off the stigma of an embarrassing mop.

A very good point. My multi-coloured hair and tongue piercing are long gone, as is the person I was at the time I had them. Although I considered it, I never got a tattoo, which I kind of put down to a subconcious knowledge that I would eventually change (i.e. mature) and come to regret it. I wouldn't judge anyone for having tattoos or anything like that done, but it's definitely not for a fickle sort like me.

The following comments are a quote from Buddy Nielsen, frontman of Senses Fail.

The rather amusing part is that Senses Fail are currently on a lengthy tour of America with... Brokencyde.

"Yeah, I slam them every night because in no way, shape or form do I back anything they do or say and I am embarrassed that kids these days are into it and am sad that kids these days are exposed to it.

There is absolutely no substance whatsoever in their songs and no passion in anything they do. It is the musical equivalent of a snow cone, bland tasting frozen tap water loaded with sugar, yet colorful, that will give you a brain freeze, melt all over your hands leaving yourself dissatisfied and sticky.

I know I am not going to change anything, there will still be 14 year old girls that like their colorful merch and their terrible club beats but if I can make one person at least question the authenticity and integrity of singing the words "let's get freaky now, let's get fucking freaky now" then I think it is well worth the effort."
