You miserable bastards. I teach in a primary school so I get to spend the next four weeks making nativity stars out of tin foil.

I'm with Desmond on this one (though the kids I teach are a wee bit too old for foil-star making) - you bunch of miserable sods!

Christmas, as with many things, is what YOU make it.

So many of the things that people complain about you don't even HAVE to notice if you don't want.

I won't be going to any shitty office parties (one afternoon meal out with some colleagues), I won't be trawling through town spending stupid money on presents (I've bought family some presents online last month), I can't remember the last time I had carol singers knocking on my door etc etc

Pretty much everyone gets a bit of time off work don't they?

To me it's a bit of quality time to spend with your friends and loved ones. The telly doesn't HAVE to go on, or the supermarkets scoured etc....

If other people want to do that, fine....me? I'll be very very very happy seeing friends, having several glasses of festive cheer...and on the actual day itself...well! It's a Thursday, neither of us will be in work, we'll lock the door and chill out....good music, good films, good food, good company.

Oh no, it's nearly Christmas, I have to see all of my family and receive gifts, and look at pretty lights in town centre on my way to Starbucks. Boo fucking hoo? What about the homeless guys who live in the cold that you have to experience whilst walking from your front door to your car? or the thousands of homeless children and women in Congo right now. Fuck you guys and your petty complaints.

Christmas should be renamed to Crimbo permanently and everyone should make a special effort towards the things that make sence.. unity, peace, kindness, love, sex, beer and the fact that everyone loves presents so buying them for people when you get the right gift.. is cool! well worth thinking about. aside from the potential gift giving shniz being related to the bible. I say it shouldnt be.. then even the jahovah's can get in on the love.
