Well it's on twice over the Christmas Period, not sure if this means it will continue into 2009, in this era of downloads and youtube, MTV etc perhaps those of you who aren't an old git like me might cringe at this news, thing is Top of The Pops used to be a great programme.

There's still plenty of great new music being made, some of which is troubling the charts, I used to like sitting through 20 minutes of crap to see the Wedding Present, Sisters of Mercy, White Stripes (to give 3 examples) perform their latest single.

I'd like to see it return to BBC screens, otherwise Simon Cowell will buy the rights.... and we don't want that happening

I sat through most of the ninties waiting for something decent to be shown.

Love the vid of No Rest. Love the fact that Justin has a strategically placed TV friendly bit of tape over the slogan "only stupid bastards use heroin". I love Stuart Morrows bass playing and it reminds us of what a start Rob Heaton was on the kit (bless him)
