Don't think this band have been mentioned yet... but they pretty much define the word 'sleaze':

Roxx Gang

This track brings back memories too:

Cats In Boots

That threw up this one:

Sea Hags

And this really is just the f**king business:

Vain

Reply to Post 35154 by MarkLuth in eye-liner-tastic Told you they were ace didnt I. Jesse has recorded a couple of solo albums recently, the first of which got quite a bit of attention through Ryan Adams being the producer (and acclaiming Jesse as one of the best singer songwriters out there).

He's playing in London (Water Rats) tonight if anyone is interested.

I remember seeing Bang Tango at the beirkeller in Brizzle years ago. They were a great band, always sounded European rather than one of those damn Yankee bands. Nice heavy bass groove running through their stuff.

I thought you went to that ... and as I mentioned on a previous (ignored) post, you would have seen Gunfire Dance that night as they were supporting!

How about this little gem

I am awaiting a second hand cd copy of Underneath What's "What Is It" which cost me the princely sum of £3.

Motorcycle Boy?

I've ordered the "Popsicle" album from Amazon, £3, apparently they sound like the NY Dolls meets Underneath What which potentially sounds bloody marvellous

Actually that does. Never got massively carried away by UW...much to Darryls chagrin. But dose that sound up with a bit of NYD and I think it may be more to my tastes. Let me know how you rate them and I may also hunt some down, just to hear Slaz saying "I told you so"...again.
