Yep, I've gone and joined another band, we're called Dead Subverts and we play a kind of Anarcho/Hardcore sort of thing.

The band was started by 2 of my mates from Devon, Matt and Bo (both ex The Something Somethings and the people who run Pumpkin Records).
We currently have 1 song (You Call This Civilization?) on our myspace page, which was recorded by email...we haven't actually all been in the same room yet
There will hopefully be another demo up by the end of the week.
We will have an EP released jointly by Smegma Records and Pumpkin Records soon, as well as appearances on some split 7" singles and we are having our first EP released in Asia very soon too.

Mark, yep, the Japanese thing becomes more of a reality with every passing day, the tour is gonna happen between Dec 27 2009 and January 17th 2010.
As soon as certain gigs are confirmed I will add'em here.

There is now another tune up 'Taking Civil Liberties'.

And, finally, an Asian label (Avail Records) has said it will release our stuff over there....it really is hard to explain exactly how mental this all is!!!!
Ironically, even though they're called Avail Records, all releases are on cassette...but you should see the packaging for a cassette...fucking amazing!!

I think with the Bournemouth gig, we're gonna be down there for a couple of days cos we are gonna need to practice...because we haven't yet!! ha ha

Good news and bad news.....

The Bad News:
USA dates in January have been postponed due to cash and visa problems (we haven't got either).
Hopefully they will be rescheduled for late November 2009.

The Good News:
We have our first ever practice tomorrow and our second on Wednesday and then play our first 2 gigs on Wednesday and Friday (Matt, if you still want to come to Reading for The Restarts, gimme a shout mate)
Also, we are booked in the studio on December 8th and will hopefully have an album recorded by the end of the day.

Also, we went into Music Box Studios, near Taunton, just before Christmas and recorded 4 tracks for upcoming split 7" releases and compilations.
The 4 tracks recorded are: You Call This Civilization?, Taking Civil Liberties, In The Name Of Art & Nothing But A Nightmare (Rudimentary Peni cover).
They sound great and should be mixed and available very soon.
We are back in the studio on January 23rd, where we will be recording another 3 songs.
