If my boss sold my keyboard and mouse and my clients were getting pissed off despite the fact I'd produced two awesome reports in the last two assignments I wouldn't be happy either!

It is worrying that 3 games into a new season managers are being shown the door, I wonder how secure Mark Huges' job will be if by next May Man City finish mid-table and without some silverware.

Hughes will be gone in the next few months if City are getting less than 2 points a game on average.

It doesn't matter if you love them or hate them, I'd say 99% of football supporters would love a board or chairmen like Man Utd's, It took Fergie 5 years to win his first trophy with Utd, during that time in the 80's they were lingering over the bottom 3 and mid table. Did they sack him? No, they kept faith and now he's probably become the greatest manager of all time with nearly 23 years now under his belt.
Even the new owners the Glazer's are a good example of good owners, it's ironic cause there was such a big backlash towards them. Yes they have put the club in debt with their buyout, but the most profitable football club in world will always be able to manage that debt. Unlike some other owners they have left Fergie to get on with it, they didn't win the league for 3 years but now look at them, back to back champions and european champs again. They kept faith, let Fergie do his job, not interfere and backed him up in the transfer market.

I'd even put Middlesbrough's chairman Steve Gibson into that same league, keeps the faith even through good and bad times. You don't see him getting rid of managers who most clubs probably would have got rid of after 2 weeks.

Very true.
