good kits mate!!

i used to have a Yamaha dtxpress 2.
you can use double kick, be aware of the size of the kick pad tho!
some are bigger than others!!..

wouldn't recommend using electric kit live, unless pa is amazing!!

sweet..

ollie.

I used to have a alesis DM5 kit which was quite a cheap one but gave out an amazing sound and as ollie said you can use a double bass pedal with them.

was quite sturdy as well considering i used to beat the s**t out of it : )

Roland V Drums all the way. I have a TD6, it's pretty good, but the TD8 and TD10 onwards have mesh heads on drum shells rather than just pads.

ah cool, it was the DM5 i spotted that made me think actually £300 seems very reasonable. do they make much noise acoustically? if u get what i mean, like could i play into the early hours or would my folks hear me hitting the pads???

they are much quieter if you have a concrete foor rather than wooden floor boards. The bass drumm pedals really thumps on wooden floors.

I have a td6 and its great fun and you can thrash it as hard as you like. Even though its in the garage on a concrete floor you can still hear it throughout the house!
