What are we all listening to?
It's an old thread, but a good one

This morning has all been about

Radio 4 - Gotham

6 years on, still an incredible album (esp the godlike "Dance To The Underground"; ) I think this is right up there with the originators of punk funk (Gang of Four, The Fire Engines, Au Pairs, Konk, ESG etc)

Forever The Sickest Kids - 'Underdog Alma Mater'

I can fully appreciate why a lot of people hate this, but as long as you take it for what it is (pure pop - basically an overblown American version of Busted), it's near-perfect.

Like I said, I can see why people will hate it, but I'm a total sucker for pop like that at times.

If you're looking for some pure pop, check out a band called Parralox who I discovered recently. I haven't stopped playing their album, though I always skip the last track as it's a rather pedestrian and pointless cover of Radiohead's Creep!?

http://www.myspace.com/parralox (well, I'm at work so can't access Myspace but I'm assuming that's the address! ; )

Good call

First Gallows album is class, I've only got "Damaged" and "The First Four Years" by Black Flag but love them both.

Today it's been the rather fine "Banned in DC" compilation by Bad Brains
