Right now I am listening to Live After Death, Iron Maiden. There isnt a year that passes where I dont love this album more. Does it give me cred points? I very much doubt it, but it gives me a stiffy!

Can't be arsed to quote something (in the internet forum sense) but The King Blues are ace live and would love to see 'em in Swindon (they played a free record shop thingy lunch time today in Bristol) although, I don't know if it's the same song (?) Si was talking about....but they did this really long (far too long!!) poem when I saw 'em which was really shit!!

Anyway, today been listening to
Ash - Intergalactic Sonic 7"'s
Inner Terrestrials + May Contain Nuts - both bands' myspace tracks
And now Bad Religion

Any good? I keep meaning to get that as I loved their first album (saw them play at The Furnace too which was a gobsmackingly good night).

Only listened to it once so far as just got it.
But yeah seems good, a bit rockier than the 1st album. The songwritting has improved. As I thought the first album had some killer tracks but a lot of filler.

Gutted I missed them at the furnace, didnt know they played there : ( the first time i saw or heard of them was at the millenium stadium supporting oasis and the foos. They were superb then!!

Rich I was gonna play Rock n roll queen last night but ran outta time : (
Next time tho mate ; )

Me and Tracy went to that gig, The Coral and Yeti also played on the same bill

From what I remember, we got them in at pretty short notice just before Glastonbury 2005. You can still see the photos on The Furnace website. They really were incredible even though I only knew one song at that point ("Oh Yeah"; )

I remember playing that at a Transmission night a couple of years ago at the club and everyone going absolutely nuts. Great song.

If anyone's interested, I recently spent several weeks s l o o o o o w l y downloading a bootleg DVD of them from 2006 featuring various festival slots (including Reading) and other TV appearances. If anyone wants a copy, just PM me. After all the effort it took to get it, it's worth sharing.. : )
