Crazyhead - Desert Orchid
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine

In a bid to drown out the insipid twaddle most London Commuter's seem to speak on my train into work each day, I obviously don't include Mr Colda in that category, although he wasn't around this morning to discuss mid 1980's indie with me.

Bit of a mixed bag this morning; some Venetian Snares and Commix to wake me up, then Bob Marley and Willy Mason to send me back to sleep once I realised it was raining.

Ah, the sonic delights of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult

Marvellous band, "A Daisy Chain For Satan" reminds me of the days Mr Fowler and Mr Gallie DJed at Level 3, I bought a really good best of cd from Amazon last year which has all the classics on it (Devil Bunnies, Kooler Than Jesus, etc)

I used to have Confessions... on vinyl and also a few 12" singles, I saw TKK support EMF of all people in late 1992 at the Portsmouth Guildhall, EMF were pretty good live but TKK blew them offstage.

You should keep an eye out for the next Barrys Disco, reckon you'd like the tunes we play, a fair bit of industrial/goth/early 90s indie going on.

I am currently halfway through Black Ice by AC/DC. So far, so bloody good. The productions a bit too clean for them though - I prefer the dirtier under produced sound from the seventies. Good songs and riffs make up for it.

Did Mr Uzzel copy you "In The Court of The Crimson King"? their first album from '69, that's a wonderfully bonkers collection of tunes

Just introduced me to them, but thats the album I've been listening to, along with 'Red'
Both brilliant albums, really enjoying them. And the band's had more line-up changes than Squeeze!

They're at The Croft in Bristol on November 8th, if that's any good to you?

Currently listening to The Qemists ft. Mike Patton 'Lost Weekend' (imagine Pendulum but with good music. And good vocals)
