all good stuff, especial First and Last and Always. Had to take the "touched by the hand of Ofra Haza" remix of Temple of Love out of the van because it made me do that gothic hand jive and I nearly ended up in the ditch. (some renaults wander by mistake?...oh, please yourselves!!)

back in the late 80s/early 90s I was pretty much obsessed with the Sisters of Mercy

got all the 7"/12" singles, the albums, far too many bootlegs, had about 15 t-shirts, saw them live quite a few times when they returned to gigging in 1990, generally listened to their music on a daily basis.

I love all the albums for different reasons, "First and Last...." is my favourite, however "Floodland" is a great pop album and "Vision Thing" a rather amusing comedy rock album

All the EPs and singles are fab

hell even the Sisterhood album has it's moments

I wish Eldritch would hurry up and make a new bloody album

picked up a Dave Cousins (Strawbs) acoustic album in Oxfam today so have been listening to Grace Darling, The Hangman and the Papist and other top notch stuff, over and over again.

As some of you may know, Dave moved to Swindon, changed his name to Pete, changed his date of birth, all major aspects of his life and indeed his very appearance. When asked about his Strawbs heyday he normally just laughs and says "you have got the wrong bloke " What a card!

this may be fabricated rubbish...oh, except the bit about me buying the album.

It sure is. I haven't listened to it in years, but dusted it off and was reminded how essential it is!
