Elvis Costello - I Want You

I Want You is an amazing song. It's up there with Idiot Wind by Bob Dylan as some of my favourite pissed-off angry love songs. You should follow the Costello track with another of his great twisted love songs; God Give Me Strength. It includes the lines
'I might as well wipe her from my memory
Fracture the spell as she becomes my enemy
Maybe I was washed out like a lip-print on his shirt

For sheer nostalgic value - The Bouncing Souls' 'That Song' after having found their album 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation' lying neglected in an old compilation case. Brilliantly simple pop-punk marvellousness.
