Super Furry Animals - Something For The Weekend

I never tire of this marvellous band nor this fantastic single from them, hard to believe it's 13 years since "Fuzzy Logic" was released.

'God! Show Me Magic' is a tune as well.

The Boat by Chuck Ragan.

The combination of gravelly vocals, acoustic guitar and awesome electric lead blows my mind

"My Girls" - Animal Collective. So weird, but so catchy

Matt, good recommendation on Mr. Ragan - never heard that before, and it's great! I know it's probably obvious but have you heard much of the American Redcordings stuff by Johnny Cash?

My Girls is my fav track of 2009 that isn't called "Kingdom Of Rust" : )

Top tune, almost Wilson-esque but with lots of bleepy electronic goodness as well, very clever but also very catchy

Gruff Rhys is the best songwriter around, the man can do no wrong, even his weaker albums with The Furries are better than most.

God! Show Me Magic used to be a regular staple of my DJ sets back in the mid-late 90s, It might be time for it to make a comeback

Do it! And I'm very happy with the Kingdom of Rust comment. Song of the year so far - easy.
