Didnt see the game but from what Ive heard he wasnt the only one to miss a few chances.
But the only defeat in 8 to chelsea is a big step in the right direction finally.

And a side note, now we have lost the only silver lining is that we didnt hand the league to united after the humiliations theyve already given us this year.

I saw the game and I thought it was pretty dull to be honest. Good news for Spurs fans is that Newcastle need to win 25-0 next week to finish above us now! We've had an awful season, but still finished with a trophy and in UEFA next year.

I do think Newcastle will be up there in the Top 8, maybe Top 6 next year. Equally, I think Spurs will be pushing Everton and Villa for 5th next year too.

Citeh and Pompey won't be any challenge, I don't reckon...

Well leave one of the best headers of the ball in the premiership unmarked in the 6 yard box you'll probably conceed. The move for Chelsea's second goal (and Chelsea's passing moves in the 5 minutes leading up to it) was brilliant though, great one & two touch passing. I don't think at any point Newcastle were on top, even the Owen chance in the first half was on a quick break & ball up to Martins (Brilliant intelligent defending by John Terry too).

I hate Chelsea but they played well and got the job done. It's going to be a good final day to the season now!

Seriously, what annoys me about Newcastle is their fans thinking their bigger than Man U. It's simply rubbish. I hate Dennis Wise and Kevin Keegan as well so that just adds to it.
