Come on STFC!
Well this is a Swindon forum, isn't it?!

At least we won't have to put up with any more promotion talk in the paper. "If we work hard and all pull together we can scrape the playoffs"

Malpas seems clueless, terrible game, awful tactics, poor substitutions that had no effect.

I have tickets for leeds on Saturday, just wondering whether I should have bothered?

You realise Wise isn't Leeds Manager anymore don't you?!

I heard King was there to watch Lee Holmes - both him and Sturrock are fans of him. Sure thing is the football was regressing back to pre-King days. It seems Malpas has coached all the creativity Burne and Williams had installed while they were in charge.

Fact is Malpas got the job for two reasons - 1. he shared fittons views on developing youth, and 2. he was cheap. If he wants to develop youth players then fair enough, put him in charge of youth development. I think he's clueless as a manager though.

The players are to blame too, not enough effort all around. They'll probably lift it for Leeds being a big game but it's same old Swindon.

I don't understand why people are on MM's back. He has a win ratio that is similar to Sturrock. Also he needs time. He'll prove to be OK i feel.

Only 1 - 0. I was expecting worse. So Ace of Bass, what's happened to out home record now? Going to be an uphill struggle to get to the playoffs now.

It's gone tits up because Malpas doesn't know what he is doing with the formation sadly. This holding midfield lark isn't working. Easton should be in the centre and Roberts should be on the right. Brez should be in goal every game because Smith was awful today. Play-offs? Can't believe you still talk about them Sean
: O We'll struggle for top half at this rate.

No more play-off talks please! Now do you see what I mean about Malpas - no clue tactically. I don't think anybody knew what they were supposed to be doing and we were all over the place. Leeds were s**t too, one shot on target and one goal. I suppose that's all you need to do really. Beckford is the leagues top scorer?

How many weak & poor biased refs do we need too? 7 or 8 handballs gone unnoticed? It took one of their players pretty much picking up the ball and carrying it for him to blow up!

As I've seen so many times in the last couple of seasons, we just didn't take our chances. We were the better side too, but if you don't stick the ball in the net when you should, you can't complain about not getting results. Malpas is on borrowed time now.
