To be fair a lot of football fans are like that, it's not just the Town lot. But I do agree it's ridiculous to be so dismissive on the back of one defeat, same as it is ridiculous to claim we can push for the play-offs after a couple of decent results (those words have been uttered!). We'll do well to stay up, but for the time being we're playing pretty good football. Ok, the Hartlepool performance didn't set the world on fire, but let's hope that will be a reality check to the players and we'll go into the next game with confidence rather than complacency. I will say also, much as I think Wilson is doing a fine job, I don't understand why McNamee is not starting, yet Amankwaah and Kanyuka are being sent straight out there...especially given their respective performances against Scunthorpe.

McNamee isn't a player for a relegation battle. If we're 3-0 up he's magic but one kick and he shy's out of the rest of the game. Robson-Kanu is solid and better defensively. If only one of them had a right foot we'd be alright. To be fair to Amankwaah he had a good game against old man Richie until he got taken off but he is playing out of position at the moment. I think Wilson also sees kanyuka as a ball player so to play him in defensive midfield isn't a bad option seeing as we have nobody else who seems to be able to play that role
