I hope people like the line up

42 acts of which only 14 played last years festival and 3 (Hello Si Hall, Gaz Brookfield and Graham Higgins) who played solo last year now play with their respective bands.

A lot of Shuffle-Virgins then

Some new venues (Riffs and The Apartments) and some familiar friends (The Vic, 12 Bar, Rolli, Beehive, Furnace) plus a Fringe Event (Elm Tree)

We had a huge response this year from acts wishing to play and did have to turn a few down, we're sorry for that, we just didn't have room to accomodate everyone, we've tried to give people a good cross section of the musical talent in this town.

Some real success stories from last year, Gaz played a great solo slot, this year he headlines with Durera, The Alfonz played a cracking set mid afternoon on the Sunday at the 12 Bar where now they return to headline, likewise Si Hall opened the Friday last year and now brings Golden Rule to play the Furnace, a few new bands/acts who have formed since last year or just didn't play last year (inc Attica Seasons, Sir Matt of Kilford, Talk In Code)

Oh and I reckon Mr Trowbridge will play a blinder @ The Beehive!!

All this plus Barrys' Disco get to play on the same bill as 2 Sick Monkeys and the Mighty Luth

and Seven Years On (who played THE gig of 2007) are once again main support at the Furnace....

AND..... when the plans were first discussed to hold the Shuffle one of the first bands we approached were The Carter Affair..... the little tykes then split up.... BUT THEY RETURN FOR THIS YEARS SHUFFLE!!

Start spreading the word people

SHUFFLE 2!!

You bastards! You know I'm on holiday on the 9th! What a line up for the Furnace on Saturday. I might just have to delay going away by 24 hours.

what a bastard. I have been informed that the new band I have joined are playing a gig on the Saturday of the Shuffle. As its the wedding reception of the bands singer and the guitarist and promises to be a mad and drunken affair, I guess its some sort of consolation, but still...bad timing or what?

On a purely personal level, I am chuffed to bits. Firstly, we get to headline the Rolly. Then I get to watch some of my favourite bands in The Furnace afterwards! It couldn't work out better!

Oooo I'm still all excited! The Vic was brilliant last night - I was really pleased with the turn out, the place was heaving! Really happy with the response that the line up is getting - This years festival looks set to be a biggun!

I'm unfortunately missing the Saturday due to being at a wedding (absolutely gutted to miss The Carter Affair) but there's no way I'll be missing any of the rest! The Monday after is going to be painful : (

Legend! Super Ted was more my era...I realised how camp sounding Spotty is when I recently watched an episode. It's shameful.

Anywho - Who's bought tickets?
