Sorry it's taken so long to comment but I have been very busy since Thursday through a combination of work, gigging and mastering the new EP....this also being responsible for only making the Thursday night of The Shuffle.

Big big thanks to Mr Moon, Paj, Al and the others who's names I don't know for putting us on,.
It was a cracking night from start to stop and, to be honest, I'm struggling to think of anything that could've made it any better than it was.
Everything that can make for a great night was there...bands on top form (all of 'em), a nice big crowd with nice big smiles on their faces, cracking tunes from the DJ's and an all-round good feeling amongst everyone present.

I loved every minute of it from the moment Mr Moon asked me to 'open' The Shuffle (much appreciated mate and it was great fun to rant for a couple of minutes and cut my very cheaply assembled ribbon : )) right through Truth Be Told's brilliantly pummelling opening to Veer Luth's super tight set of new and old tunes (complete with Adam's jazz-type solos - quite possibly the result of alcohol consumption..who knows? ha ha).
And thyen, The Parodies and, f**k me, I know I keep saying it but these chaps just get better and better each time and lovely to see it happening too...proper job!!

As for our set, I'm surprised at how well it went (from our point of view, at least) some of those songs hadn't been played for nigh on 17 years!!!
Was a great buzz to do them and to know that there were some people there who knew Dave and seemed chuffed to hear those songs again (special mention to Mark Carter who raced to the front to singalong to Dave Codpeace...nice one mate!!).

So, yeah in closing, big thanks again to everyone involved, really enjoyed it all, as Ithink did everyone there...lovely!!

And, Matt Parody, nice guest vocals on Too Many Secrets ; )
