RSS feeds...
ace idea, not working?

Being a geek, I'd love to be able to use the little RSS feed button, but it simply takes me to a link and either it's not working, or my browser (Firefox) does not recognise it as an RSS I can subscribe to.

Where abouts? All the RSS feeds I have subscribed to are working

it's the RSS feed next to the Latest Posts. If I click on it, it takes me to:http://www.swindonmusic.co.uk/rss/latestposts.rss

Which just comes up as a blank page.

Sorry, got it working now!!!

That link doesn't work, but if I click on the RSS button in the address bar anywhere on the site, I can subscribe, which I've done now. Smashing!

One more thing!!!

I've just found out today about using Google Reader to show RSS feeds on my igoogle search page (and yes, I realise that is possible the geekiest sentence I've ever typed). I can get google reader to load up the latest posts, but it doesn't seem to update when I refresh it. It might be something to do with authentification. Do you need to login to check the latest posts?

No you don't need to sign in to view the posts. Google may be caching the results, I'm not too sure. You're right though it was a pretty geeky sentence!

since 18th May mine has broke. No matter what I do to update it reverts to then.... what am I doing wrong?

I would have thought your RSS reader would be the problem there. The feeds are live as you load them. Try typing the feeds address into your browser and seeing what information comes back, it might be in an xml format but you should be able to pick out topic titles and dates
