Bit of a shame, really. Not exactly my sort of thing but they did it very well and were certainly a cut above many pop/chart type acts that have done a lot better than they were able to.

Guess it show just how much a big record company behind you actually matters, even these days.

It's weird, I can remember saying at the time they won the chance to play the Big Weekend and then got on as support to N-Dubz that if they hadn't had a breakthrough within a year it was hard to see how they ever would.

Fair play to them for giving it a good go though.

They were good guys, talented ones as well, I wish them all well in their future musical activities

Not massively my thing either but I saw them three or four times live and found them to be a good show, very accessible to a wider audience in a way that a lot of the hip-hop/dance/urban whatever genre isnt. But that accessibility might have also been their downfall. I quite liked their self produced Rootz e.p. but the album that followed seemed to be trying to be all things to everyone and seemed to aimed at a young pop market. In fact the best songs on the album were those that had originally been found on Rootz. Still fair play to those guys, they took their music further than most people manage to and hopefully as individuals there is another chapter yet to be written.
