Well in an effort to stem the tide of posts about Nike trainers, tattoo supplies and who hates who on the local sceneI thought I would do the unthinkable and talk about a few gigs coming up. As you probably know by now Songs of Praise, held first Thursday of the month at The Victoria is under new management, but to be fair very little has changed. The guys at Green Man Music are now booking the bands and we want to try and build the night back up to its past glories. Think of it as yor first port of call for checking out some of the newer original bands on the local circuit often indispersed with our pick of bands that we have been working with out side the parish boundaries. We have the next three shows already in place with next year filling up fast.
6th October - Young and effervesant pop/rock with Supersquare Cloud, Secret Lives and Nudy Bronque -

1st December - Songwriters showcase. we have invited a plethora of local talent to play together in new and interesting ways, covers, new takes on their own songs, chaotic unrehearsed panic jamming and any number of new avenues being explore.
