Description
LUKE PICKETT
“Luke Pickett, is the definition of "Fit"… Luke does not disappoint the packed out 12 Bar crowd. His songs are fantastically well written, and tug on the heartstrings of all the lovers and loners of the night… His voice is what makes the music what it is. With songs like "Empty Corridors" and "Blood Money" he exercises his vocal qualities to the maximum, hitting notes higher than the David Murray John Tower.
This myspace phenomenon justifies all the hype surrounding him. The faster he escapes the underground to the mainstream the better as his music demands recognition. It’s an absolutely storming evening that satisfies all who attended.
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, We all love Luke Pickett, He loves us all too.” - swindonweb.co.uk
“I had heard two songs from this EP previously and became deservedly addicted to “empty corridors”. Luke has an exceptionally unique voice, placing emphasis on the sound of the word rather than the phonetic pronunciation. His voice amalgamates animated potency and energy married with a nervous self-assurance when his voice breaks or he hits polished falsettos. I make no apologies to the fact I’m totally enamoured by his song writing ability. I’ve had this EP on repeat since it landed and it’s not coming out of the player any time soon.
“For Every Petal Lost; Another Gained” is embellished with moments of perfection and I would urge anyone who likes refined acoustic inspired brilliance to check out Luke Pickett. Give the man a year or so and I strongly believe he will be one of the best solo artists in the country of his ilk” – punknews.co.uk
CONSORT WITH ROMEO
“2008 looks set to be when many promising UK pop-rock bands come into the spotlight (We Are The Ocean, You Me At Six etc) but one that is making just as notable progress is Consort With Romeo, fronted by vocal beauty Athina Andrelos. Her killer melodies and impressive vocal range makes tracks such as ‘Lets Go To Disneyland’ become an instant fixture inside your head whilst the rest of the band soar through infectious guitar hooks. After a member shake up, the many shows CWR have booked for 2008 should lead them to some much deserved exposure” – Big Cheese Magazine
Review supporting Cute Is What We Aim For:
“Second support Consort With female fronted pop punk with a harder British edge, with a sound that covers melodic softer moments accented by sweet female vocals, to epic operatics and heavier riffs and polished hooks. They come across extremely well, considering how hard it must be for a female fronted band to play to a crowd of mainly young girls” – rockmidgets.co.uk
BEFORE ALL TIME
Before All Time are five guys doing what they love. We play songs that we enjoy and hope you do to. We always try to put on a show and give something back to everyone who comes out to support us. We love everyone that loves us and even those who hate us.
The band was started back in the winter of 2005 by Mat and Matty, soon after adding Rob and Jay to the line up. They played many shows for over a year as a four piece. But with the biggest support slot to date with Furthest Drive Home and We Are The Ocean a major change came in the form of Jay becoming a full time front man and Ben added as the 5th part to the force that is Before All Time.
JON TROWBRIDGE
“Many of you may know him as the front man of Broken Daylight. Tonight, he was going solo. I've been a big fan of Jon's solo work for quite some time now. He has soul and passion and a stunning voice. All released at once creates a real wall of sound quality. Just close your eyes and drift into another plane. Don't ask why, but he reminds me of Alicia Keys, weird I know, but true. We should be seeing a lot more of Jon's solo work as Broken Daylight have reached their sell by date. Sad for BD fans, great for us JT fans. A well polished performance. Jon claims that they only had 15 minutes for practice for this. God help the rest of us if he only needs 15 minutes to be that good. Don't you just hate these gifted people?”

Same day as this!!!!!
seriously Cereal, stop spamming other people's events. It's just a bit s**t really.
Because having forked out for a festival ticket and having already watched Jon Trowbridge, you're expecting people to then leave a brilliant festival atmosphere and miss Tom Baxter, Beth Rowley, Pete Molinari, The Flies, Attica Seasons, Hip Route and Talk In Code?
See anyone can spam someone else's event thread, but the rest of us normally have the etiquette not to, however in this instance, touche - I know where I'm gonna be!
