Description

KUNT & THE GANG

"Just when you thought all the great choruses had been used, Kunt and the Gang arrive to show Coldplay how it's done in jaw-dropping, potty mouthed style."
NME

"Life-affirmingly puerile stuff, set to one of the most infectious and upbeat melodies imaginable."
CHARLIE BROOKER IN THE GUARDIAN

"A one man filth machine...the perfect soundtrack to a drunken lads' night in."
BIZARRE

"Our favorite band - for at least ten minutes last Friday..."
ROLLING STONE

"Kunt miraculously comes across as a pleasant young man who just happens to enjoy swearing, masturbating over ladies on television and offering himself to celebrities."
THE SKINNY

"Immense respect is due simply for being willing to cavort through town dressed as Fred and Rose West."
B3TA.COM

"Like early-80s era Depeche Mode trying to be prosecuted under obscenity laws, Kunt and his puppet pal Little Kunt perform routines about everything from Fred West to Carol Vorderman. Politically correct it isn't but your guilty sniggers will soon turn to belly laughs as improbably surreal scenarios are played out."
GUARDIAN GUIDE

"...they make some of the most addictive, clever and downright bizarre electro pop punk around..."
BIG CHEESE

"From Basildon to Baghdad, by the end of the year Kunt's gonna be on everybody's lips..."

WONK UNIT

Well done for finding out about the Wonk. This is me."Wacky Al". I'm full of fun and games.
Laugh a minute and cry from your asshole Cougar they call me.
I write. I write fun stuff. I write shit. I write stuff that will make you cringe. I'll write stuff that will make you feel awkward.
And guess what? I don't give a fuck. I write for me. I don't give a shit. Hear me yeah?I don't care.
When we play as a 3 piece we can hold our own easy. With any fucking punk rock band on this planet.
And you can suck my dick. Yup. I have a great fuckin cock. We do acoustic shows. They are nice. We smile and all is happy.
And if you bring ya daughter or kid to the room then i'll lay off the smut. Because that just wouldn't be nice.
And i write books. We have 2. "How to make girls Cum" and "memoirs of a loser" Coz i've got so much s**t inside these days that i have to produce,to get it out of me.Coz i'm a cunt. But a happy one.Who loves his neighbours.
Oh yeah,A screen play that i've written is pretty close to being produced."The Champion".Should make you sweat and piss and laugh. That's that. Wonk unit for 2010. Oh yeah.New Album's coming."Trolleys thank you".We have the best punk drummer in the world recording it with us.Very excited. Will be done by Summer.Oh yeah 2,we still need a drummer.Get in touch, spread the word, all that shit. Many thanks. 2 SICK MONKEYS

2 Sick Monkeys formed in December 2000, as a live two piece bass and drums, primarily to support Darrin Mooney (Primal Scream) at a drum event in Swindon.
They have now played over 500 gigs (270 in the last 3 years) including 6 European tours.
They have built up a strong live following and have supported bands such as Subhumans (3 times), Anti-Nowhere League (3 times), Discharge, GBH, The Varukers, The Buzzcocks, Total Chaos (twice), The Restarts, Goldblade, 999 (twice), Citizen Fish, Inner Terrestrials (loads!), Targetpoint, Captain Everything, The Vibrators, Sonic Boom Six, The Fight and Lord Bishop Rocks.
Their influences range from the complex rhythms of Nomeansno to the catchy melodies of Green Day.
September 2002 saw 2 Sick Monkeys release their debut 5-track CD “Full Flavour Behaviour” and their second CD, the 4-track EP, “Nowhere Nothing”, followed in August 2003.
Their debut album “Curse of the Monkeys” was released in October 2005.
2008 saw them release the new "Why?" EP (in October) and carry on with the relentless gigging.
2009 brought a new EP and a couple of compilation appearances.
2010 will see another new EP, a live album/DVD release and the second Studio Album (due for a late summer release).
Each year has seen the amount of gigs increase and everywhere they’ve played, they’ve been asked back.
They describe themselves as tight, melodic and percussively in your face.
Basically...small outfit, BIG SOUND!!

THE DIRECTORS

The Directors are a 3 piece experimental pseudo-political ska-tinged dissent loving rock machine based in the alternative capital of the United Kingdom, Totnes in Devon. We've been rocking out for about 1 1/2 years, and have an e.p. out, and have we don't need no producer! We've done a tour of the fine Isle of Man, have played many gigs in the UK including such cauldrons of musical excellence as Exeter, Plymouth, Edinburgh, Paignton, Exmouth, Torquay, Bath, Totnes and the home country of Dartington! We're just got back from a lovely jaunt to the continent playing in Germany, the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Serbia supporting the charming 2 Sick Monkeys. You can hear some of our diy offerings on our myspace page, mind - our tracks are owned by Rupert while they're on here so enjoy!

Forgot to mention that Wonk Unit sound like 'Everything Sucks' era Descendents and The Directors have a very garage/punk thing going on.
Also, for this night only Wonk Unit (due to personel problems) will have some special guests as their rhythm section...I am sworn to secrecy but you'd be bananas to miss it : )

Watched a cracking online interview with Kunt just the other day. He makes me laugh (something most professionally funny people don't usually manage), a lot. Really wish I was around for this.

C'mon folks, definitely the funniest night you'll have in Swindon in a long time...if you know or like (or both!!) Jurgen Milkwolff, you'll love this!!!
