Ended up being a bit of a legendary evening all round, and judging by the numbers of folk who came out of the woodwork, a lot of dosh was raised. Banjovi were the biggest surprise of the evening, actually very good.

I'd offer up the Ode & The Bebops skiffle take of Sweet Home Alabama as a highlight but really the spoils to Roly for making this happen and to all involved and the fine people of Swindon turning out to support such a fine cause.

hey, to the organisers of this, please look into donating the money another way, generally oxfam only give 25% of any money they recieve to the charity-yes, this is legal. x

firstly a huge big thanks to Roly, all the bands,DJ Dust and everyone who came out to support this event. it was an amazing evening
Thanks to you all we raised £705 for this worthy cause which is close to our hearts
dave and i were in the dom rep at the time of the first quake which is why we wanted to help the disaster appeal
we have been contacted by the iberostar foundation, a non profit making organisation who have pledged to match donations made to their 'in sympathy with haiti' campain All the funds collected will be donated to the projects that UNICEF and CARITAS have begun to develop for rebuilding Haiti.
