Band Bio
2003-04: My Defiance
My Defiance was a hardcore/death metal band that didnt actually progress to anything outside of band practice. Miles thought that his guitar skills wasn't good enough to write songs, so he concentrated on vocals. Nick was really into drums and his skills were progressing fairly fast. Lee had been a bassist for a while before but only started taking bass seriously when joining My Defiance. We worked with Dean Cox former Her Deadly Rival (Now known as Buried Beneath) guitarist . With Miles on just vocals, Dean was the main song writer. Also Stu Jackman joined us as a guitarist for a while before joining Prometheus due to the lack of progression made on our part. The whole thing didn't really work out and the band split up.
2005: Flesh Hammer
Flesh Hammer was a side project that Miles and Nick started whilst My Defiance was slowly finishing. With Miles now writing riffs aswell as lyrics, and Nick putting drums to it all, all the band needed was a bassist to start gigging. Nick informed Lee about this new band needing a bassist so he joined. Soon after Lee joining (2 days) there was Flesh Hammers first gig. We recorded our first 4 songs as a demo which we made 30 copys of. We are now writting new material and will re-record some older songs for our new CD.
We aim to write metal that is variated and unrepetitive, bringing in new things to our music to keep it fresh.
