Band Bio
"The first of the two local support bands to the night's proceedings were the vastly ambitious and hugely fantastic 'aburningruin'. Their fast-paced and Bullet For My Valentine-style guitar playing got the moshing off to a great start and from the onset anyone could see that nothing from this band was going to give anything less than 100% auditory satisfaction."

"aburningruin have a list of proggy, experimental, heavy and crazy influences. They themsleves have a mix of sounds in some occasions borrowed from, in some merely inspired by these influences. Lets just say I have three words to describe their sound: Heavy, technical and ONEHELLOFSCARYBEAST (all one word)."
Prog-post hardcore quintet with clever sound! The song I heard on the msypace profile is a perfect balance of styles. Opening up with a nice wierd clapping intro and then folwloed by nice widdly parts not boring ones. This is all backed up by an epic sounding riff and powerful thundering drumming. The chorus leads way to a nicely placed melodic bit showing a mix of mega styles. They are suprisingly original for a young band having formed three years ago roughly. I like it, I think you should too! 8 hugs out of 10"
